MLP:FiM Ceramic Figurine Project

Welcome!  I, like many other fans of the newest iteration of the My Little Pony franchise, have been motivated into giving back to the community.  Unlike many of these individuals, however, I possess no artistic or musical talent of any sort.  What I do have is organization!  So let us begin...

If you have ever been to a 'paint your own pottery' place, then you'll know what I am talking about.  These are pottery studios that have on their shelves many different figurines, plates, platters and bowls.  Patrons can select the item of their choice, grab paint, paint brushes and a water bowl and go to town painting their masterpiece however they see fit.  Once they have completed their work, a staff member will take the piece off to be fired in a kiln and return with a pick-up date and time. Easy as that!

Now, what if Hasbro were to produce unpainted, show-accurate ceramic figurines to be sold in places like the one mentioned above, allowing fans to paint their own special pony?  This move has great potential for economic success and positive impact for both Hasbro and its fans.  Not only are these places filled with little kids within the target demographic, but also ceramic cast figurines are easy to mass produce and it is likely that pottery studios would love to carry officially licensed Hasbro products in their stores.

In compliance with "Pics or it didn't happen"  (It hasn't happened, but you get the idea), have some pictures!

All ceramic figures will be based on these magnificent models by KP_ShadowSquirrel!
So anyways, that is the idea. I'll go further into the details of the development process in a later post.  If you are indeed reading this, let me know what you think in the comment section below!
